Work of free-standing midwives

Due to their contract with health assurances, midwives can only intervene prenatally on pathologies after the women is refered by a medical doctor
-No prenatal work with pregnant women without pathology
-No birth assistance by a midwife out of hospital
- No birth attendance of a free-standing midwife in a hospital
- Post natally - childbed assistance from 0-10 days after birth, if women didn't stay longer, then 4 days in hospital after birth
- If a pathologic situation exists, a doctor can prescibe midwifery visits postnatally for a longer time
