The Birth Center Network was founded in 1993 in Halle as a non-profit organization, headquartered in Bonn, Germany Current Birth Center Network members

Our Goals

To inform women of their birthing choices
To create partnerships between midwives and other professionals to foster the well-being of mothers, babies and families

What We Do

Help women determine their needs and provide resources
Inform the public about Birth Center options
Work together with parents interested in supporting Birth Centers
Counsel developing Birth Centers
Exchange valuable infomation between current Birth Center Network members
Organize conferences for both professionals and parents
